A friendly guide to your stay in Dolphin Sands

We’re so glad you’ve chosen to stay with us. This little guide sets out how everything works so your time at Sand Shacks is smooth, comfortable, and full of those slow‑morning, beach‑walk moments we love so much.

Nothing here is meant to feel formal or heavy — it’s simply about keeping the space beautiful, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

What This Agreement Is

Sand Shacks is a short‑stay, holiday accommodation — not a residential tenancy. This agreement just helps us all stay on the same page so you can relax and enjoy your time by the sea.

Payments & Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
If there’s a final balance due, it’s payable by: ____________________.

If payment isn’t received by the due date, we may need to cancel the booking — but we’ll always try to reach you first.

Security Bond

We take a refundable bond of $300.00.
It’s simply there to cover things like accidental damage, extra cleaning, or missing items. We return it within 7 days of check‑out — usually sooner.

Cancellation Options

Every trip is different, so choose the style that suits you:

• Moderate: Full refund up to 7 days      before arrival

If we ever need to cancel due to safety or unexpected issues, you’ll receive a full refund.

Arriving & Leaving

• Check‑in: From 2pm
• Check‑out: By 10.30am

We offer easy self‑check‑in, and you’ll receive instructions before you arrive. If you need early check‑in or a later check‑out, just ask — we’ll help if we can.

If you prefer to meet us and chat about the area please contact us and we will make sure we are available for you, we like a chat too!

During Your Stay

We ask that you:

• Treat the space with the same care you’d give      your own home
• Let us know if anything breaks or needs attention
• Lock up when you head out
• Use appliances safely
• Keep smoke alarms and safety equipment untouched
• Enjoy the space respectfully — for you, our      neighbours, and the wildlife that calls Dolphin Sands home

House Guidelines

These help keep Sand Shacks peaceful and welcoming:

• No parties or events
• No smoking indoors
• Pets only with prior approval
• Only registered guests may stay overnight
• Please be mindful of our beautiful coastal      environment

Cleaning & Care

We take care of the full clean between guests.
Before you leave, we simply ask that you:

• Leave things tidy
• Pop dishes in the dishwasher
• Place rubbish in the outdoor bins
• Let us know about any spills or breakages

If the property needs extra cleaning beyond normal use, additional charges may apply.

Damage & Safety

Accidents happen — just let us know.
Guests are responsible for any damage during their stay.
We’re not liable for personal injury or loss of belongings, so please take care, especially with children around decks, steps, and outdoor areas.

Fire Safety

Tasmania’s environment is precious and Dolphin Sands is ver bush fire‑sensitive.
Please:

• Never disable smoke alarms
• Avoid open flames indoors
• Do not have fires outside
• Be very careful with cigarette butts make sure      they are extinguished and stored safely.

Use of the Space

Sand Shacks is designed for relaxed holiday stays.
If you’d like to use the space for photography, small gatherings, or anything outside a standard stay, just reach out — we’re happy to chat.

Access

If urgent repairs are needed, we may need to enter the property, but we’ll always give notice where possible.

A Simple Acknowledgement

This Stay Agreement is intended to support a calm, comfortable, and respectful stay at Sand Shacks.

By proceeding with your booking, making payment, receiving check‑in details, or checking in to the property, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the guidelines outlined in this document.

No physical signature is required — your booking and stay serve as acknowledgement of this agreement.

We truly appreciate your care for the space and hope your time here is restful, easy, and filled with quiet coastal moments.
